After introducing Monster 696 in the 2008. Ducati has decided to add middle range Monster 796 to the Monster family in the 2009., according to tradition in making middle range Monsters starting from Monster 750 back in 1996.
Monster 796 shares its looks with the Monster 1100 but the engine comes with smaller displacement of 803 cc and moderate power delivery of 87 hp at 8250 rpm, which makes the Monster 796 a perfect everyday user friendly naked bike suitable for beginners as for more experienced riders.
